Recalls? What Recalls. More Common than You Think!

Before I met Ellie Cachette, CEO of ConsumerBell, my knowledge of product recalls was pretty slim.  My awareness only reached the printed list at the Target or Walmart customer service counter.  I also thought that most of those items didn’t really apply to me or my family; yes, I suffered from the “it’s hapening-somewhere-else-syndrome.”  This fall, in my constant search for healthier foods and homemade alternatives to store bought convenience foods, I’ve come across many interesting food safety facts.  MOMables™ even partnered up with ConsumerBell because they graciously send me important food safety information weekly! Their team is pretty incredible and worth following on Twitter and Facebook.

This morning, I came across this info-graphic and I had to share it with you.  If you are anything like my old self and think that recalls happen once in a while or are only for toys  “made-in-China” think again.  Thank you ConsumerBell for once again sharing a fantastic visual.  Awareness is key!
