Campfire Strawberries

Looking for the perfect campfire snack? This Campfire Strawberries recipe is sure to please!

Campfire-Strawberries MOMables.com

Whenever I think of campfires, or enjoying the night by the fire pit in the backyard, the first thing that comes to mind is late-night talks and enjoying time with my family.

The first food that comes to mind is immediately s’mores. S’mores are a classic campfire treat. You can’t go wrong with toasted marshmallow, chocolate, and graham crackers. The combination is amazing and one of my favorites, until I tried these strawberries. Wow!

I never thought I would admit this, but these campfire strawberries are better than s’mores! The toasted marshmallow, drizzle of chocolate over the slightly warmed strawberry is just incredible.

Everyone in my family couldn’t stop eating them! I kept finding ways to make “mistakes” so that I could eat them all up.

Campfire Strawberries are a perfect replacement if you are looking for a healthier version of s’mores while you relax by the campfire and enjoy time with your family!

To make these Campfire Strawberries, all you need is strawberries, our homemade marshmallow fluff, and melted chocolate. I took a handful of chocolate chips and melted them to drizzle these strawberries. No need to measure anything, and these will be lots of fun to make with the kids!

If you kids are too young to toast the marshmallow on the strawberries, let them drizzle the chocolate and enjoy!

MOMables Campfire Strawberries Recipe

Directions:

  1. First wash and pat dry your strawberries.
  2. Dip, or spread, marshmallow fluff on your strawberry.
  3. Place a strawberry over the fire and roast. Drizzle with melted chocolate, and enjoy!

We loved our Campfire Strawberries on popsicle sticks, or even just by themselves.

These Campfire Strawberries can be enjoyed right away, but can also can be made ahead of time and are just as delicious! They would be the perfect treat in any lunch box.
