Caprese Skewers Snack Box

These Caprese skewers are quick and easy to make and are a terrific quick snack or a healthy school lunch, and don’t forget the pesto!

Ingredients

  • 10 grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces fresh Mozzarella, cut into 20 cubes
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup pesto, optional

Instructions

Using a flexible skewer, poke through a tomato, a mozzarella cube, a basil leaf, another mozzarella cube, and another tomato. 

Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients. Serve with a fresh side of pesto, if using.
