Whether you are dairy-free or looking for a lightened up holiday treat, this Dairy-Free Eggnog is made with no eggs and the perfect festive drink for kids and adults.

Two drinking glasses filled with ice and dairy-free eggnog.

There’s nothing I love more than turning on the holiday music, wrapping gifts, and sipping on a delicious glass of eggnog. It’s part of the experience and a tasty treat for the entire family.

After testing a few different recipes, I found the perfect dairy, egg, gluten, and nut-free eggnog recipe, and today, I’m sharing it with you.

Allergy-Friendly Eggnog

Eggnog is originally made with egg yolks, whipping cream, and holiday spices, but this recipe is made allergy-friendly with bananas, flaxseed, and coconut milk, blended into one delicious velvety drink.

The bananas and coconut milk mimic the flavor of regular eggnog, and the flaxseeds help to thicken it; add a dash of cinnamon over everyone’s glass, and they’ll be back for seconds.

If you want to make this even more sweet and refreshing, try serving this eggnog over ice! I started doing this years ago and haven’t looked back since.

Eggless, Dairy-Free Eggnog Ingredients

Who knew a few bananas and a handful of pantry staples would make such delicious, dairy-free eggnog? I also love that this recipe doesn’t include raw eggs, so everyone can safely enjoy a cold glass of this holiday drink.

Here’s everything you’ll need to make it:

  • Bananas
  • Unsweetened applesauce
  • Ground flaxseed
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon
  • Ground nutmeg
  • Honey
  • Coconut milk

With ingredients like these, you can enjoy a glass of this guilt-free! It’s another family-favorite treat I turned into a clean eating recipe that tastes indulgent but leaves you feeling good.

How to Make Dairy-Free Eggnog

This is a two-step process, and the blender does all the work for you. I suggest refrigerating all the ingredients beforehand; that way, it will be chilled and ready to drink, straight from the blender.

  1. Blend!
Place all the ingredients into a blender, and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Grab a Glass
Pour yourself a glass, top with additional cinnamon, and enjoy!

Toppings are optional but a dash of ground nutmeg or cinnamon always adds a special touch.

you can use cashew or almond milk but the consistency will be thinner, not as thick. Enjoy!

    Hi

I can’t have apple sauce as I’m fructose intolerant. Is there anything I can use as a substitute?
(preferably fructose, egg, dairy and yeast free)

If you divide the recipe in half, you’ll have 2 “tall” glasses. One for today and one for tomorrow. :)
