Tart apples, cinnamon, and oats- this apple pie smoothie has the delicious flavors of our favorite fall pie in a healthy, refreshing smoothie!

Your kids will love this healthy dessert-tasting smoothie for breakfast any day of the week!

What’s not to love about a slice of homemade apple pie? A flaky, buttery crust packed with soft, baked apples and topped with vanilla ice cream- delish!

While I like to indulge in homemade apple pie now and then, I’ve found this apple pie smoothie a nice reminder that you can enjoy those same flavors in a healthier, refreshing way. It’s got all the apple pie flavors we love without all the extra sugar or butter.

Smoothies are always a good idea to introduce foods into your kid’s diet they otherwise wouldn’t eat in solid forms, like this pineapple green smoothie, which is a great way to sneak in fresh spinach! See where I’m going?

Apple Pie Smoothie Ingredients

Within seconds this creamy, chilled smoothie is ready to be enjoyed! Here’s everything you need to make it happen:

  • 1 small apple- Gala, Honey Crisp, and Pink Lady work best
  • Milk- dairy or non-dairy alternative
  • Banana
  • Oats cinnamon

Using a frozen banana will help to thicken the smoothie, but if you want it thicker, add 1 cup of ice after the spices and blend as directed.

Healthy Apple Pie Smoothie for Kids

This is a great smoothie recipe for kids since they feel like they’re sipping on a treat, but it’s good for them! The fruit in the smoothie packs antioxidants, and the yogurt has protein to keep them full – plus, it makes the smoothie extra creamy.

You can also prep ahead and make this smoothie the night before for a quick breakfast or freeze and pack it for lunch the next day.

Looks great! Can’t wait to try! Do we leave the apple peels on? Just wondering if my blender will be able to take them since it is an older one. We drink your Elvis smoothie all the time!
