I created this recipe because Buffalo wings are always a hit. For this game winning recipe, I partnered with Sabra to create something with one of my favorite ingredients, hummus! So by combining everything people love about buffalo wings and hummus, I created the perfect buffalo chicken dip!
Another reason I love this recipe is because dips are typically loaded with sour cream and cream cheese, adding extra calories that are unnecessary. Most party dips also contain dairy, so this is also a great option. Note: this dish is not fully dairy-free, as I do use blue cheese to top it off and make it the perfect dip for watching football. You can omit the blue cheese for a dairy free recipe and still have a delicious recipe!

Buffalo Chicken Hummus Dip

- 16-ounce container hummus
- 1 cup shredded, cooked chicken
- ½ cup buffalo hot sauce
- 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
- Celery, carrots, and pita wedges for serving
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- On a flat surface, shred cooked chicken and transfer it to a 9×9 or oval casserole baking dish.
- Add hummus, buffalo sauce, and half of the crumbled blue cheese and combine all ingredients until the buffalo sauce is completely mixed in. Top with remaining blue cheese crumbles.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and hummus is hot. Remove from oven and serve hot with pita wedges, celery, carrots, and ranch dip.
You can use leftover rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken chopped into pieces, or even canned chicken.
