This buffalo chicken hummus dip recipe is unlike anything you’ve seen before. It’s the perfect gameday recipe and one your family and friends will ask you for the recipe!
Whether you are hosting a Super Bowl party, or just going to a party and need to bring a dish, this is the recipe to make! Since this is the biggest game of the year; we wouldn’t want to be responsible for bringing a dish that earns a penalty. So, it doesn’t matter if you are cheering for the AFC or the NFC to win the Lombardi trophy; You want to win the best dish at the party!
I created this recipe because Buffalo wings are always a hit. For this game winning recipe, I partnered with Sabra to create something with one of my favorite ingredients, hummus! So by combining everything people love about buffalo wings and hummus, I created the perfect buffalo chicken dip!
Another reason I love this recipe is because dips are typically loaded with sour cream and cream cheese, adding extra calories that are unnecessary. Most party dips also contain dairy, so this is also a great option. Note: this dish is not fully dairy-free, as I do use blue cheese to top it off and make it the perfect dip for watching football. You can omit the blue cheese for a dairy free recipe and still have a delicious recipe!
The hummus changes this dish up from the trendy buffalo chicken dip you will find on Pinterest. And oh boy, you will get a ton of raves. My husband couldn’t believe how awesome this came out, and neither could his friends.
As you can see in the video, this is super easy to make! You barely need any prep time and can make it right before walking out the door. It also makes a delicious snack for work or school!

Wondering what to serve with this awesome dip? I chose to serve mine with the classic side of celery, but you can use carrots, peppers, pita bread or chips.
Even if you aren’t watching the SuperBowl, this is a must try for your next party. You won’t be disappointed.

- Bake for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and hummus is hot. Remove from oven and serve hot with pita wedges, celery, carrots, and ranch dip.
Is there a substitution for the blue cheese. My son is allergic to all dairy.
You can omit the cheese completely. If you really want to add it in there for the flavor, there are vegan bleu cheeses you can try.
