Lightly toast the bread to a golden color. Once toasted, spread the Thousand Island dressing, or mayonnaise, on each slice.
Place the sliced chicken on one bread slice, top with crispy bacon, tomato slices, and lettuce leaves. Top with the other toasted bread slice and close the sandwich.
Slice the sandwich in half or pack it for a school lunch.
Pack for lunch:
Place the sandwich in the main compartment of the lunch box. Pack any sides, like fruit and veggies, in separate compartments or containers to prevent the sandwich from getting soggy. Refrigerate or pack it inside the lunch bag with an icepack if necessary.
