On a cutting board, roll up the deli ham or turkey, and slice each roll into 3 to 4 pieces. Slice the cheese and prep any fruit and sides.
Pack it for school:
Place the cheese slices and the deli meat inside a compartmentalized container.
Pack the whole grain crackers in a separate compartment, away from the deli meat, and the fruit in its own compartment or a separate container. Shown are homemade strawberry fruit roll-ups.
Refrigerate the lunch until you pack it inside the lunch bag with an ice pack, if necessary.
