Laura Fuentes is a mother to three kids, entrepreneur, the Author of The Best Homemade Kids Lunches on the Planet (Fairwinds 2014) and The Best Homemade Snacks on the Planet (Fairwinds 2015), and The Best Grain-Free Family Meals on the Planet (Fairwinds 2016). She's the Food Network’s Rewrapped episode winner (2014), and speaker on numerous topics related to kids’ health and wellness.
As the creator and founder of MOMables, Laura is committed to helping parents make real food happen in their households by sharing easy recipes and quick tips. She believes kids deserve to eat a variety of real foods without holding parents hostage to the kitchen.
She shares her food knowledge throughout her recipes, videos in her YouTube channel, contributions to numerous print magazines, her column in the Huffington Post, and other online publications. She’s also the host of MOMables Radio, a top rated parenting podcast on iTunes.

Alison is the amazing lady behind the lens to many of the recipes on this website and the numerous places where MOMables’ recipes are featured. A nurse by trade, Alison has a gift for making real food beautiful. She works alongside Laura in all special projects, sponsored content, magazine features, and has photographed both of her cookbooks.
Her work has been featured in Good Housekeeping, Go-Gluten Free, Low-Sugar Living, Edible Omaha, and Natural Solutions Magazine. She also appears in TV segments for Mom’s Everyday.
Alison lives in the heart of the mid-west where, along with her husband, they raise their three boys. Whether it’s in the garden, the kitchen or tagging along on her boys’ latest adventure she looks for the simple beauty in the everyday from behind her lens. On her blog, ‘this homemade life’ Alison shares tales of mothering, her passion for vegetarian cooking and obsession with farmer’s markets.

Previously, Cara worked in the lifestyle publication realm with Tasting Table and UrbanDaddy, in the hospitality space with Starwood Hotels and in the Canadian fashion scene with retailer Le Chateau. Cara’s work has been recognized at the Iris Awards during the Mom 2.0 conference and in Business Insider, MarketPlace on NPR, and on The Today Show.

Stephanie is a hidden gem in the MOMables office. She helps manage the team, deadlines, Laura’s messy calendars, and sorting through hundreds of incoming emails in our inboxes, and everything else in between.
Social Media Manager
Emilie is our go to person for sharing our content and engaging with our community online. Emilie began to work with MOMables during a summer internship in 2015 and soon became an integral part of the team.
She is an avid cook, baker, and lover of all things fresh food. In her blog, EmilieEats, she shares vegan inspired recipes.
Peyton is one of a kind around here. He was hired the minute Laura met him for his vibrant personality and willingness to learn.
He spent six months in Antarctica studying penguins prior to graduating from college. He is currently studying medicine at LSU Medical School and continues to work for us remotely between lectures, study sessions and labs.
Chef Amparo Fuentes
Recipe Consultant & Resident Chef
Amparo Fuentes is a mother to three kids and loves everything about nutritious foods. In 2004, she began working in an organic marketplace in Spain teaching cooking classes and established their prepared fresh-food department.
A graduate of Madrid’s School of Nutrition, Amparo has a background in holistic nutrition and child nutritional education. In 2007, Amparo moved on to work as a Sous Chef in an organic restaurant while attending pastry school. And in 2009, turning her focus back to children’s nutrition, Amparo enrolled in Culinary School while cooking at the Gredos San Diego School in Madrid. She managed for an additional two years the school’s kitchen, serving over 1800 wholesome, fresh daily lunches to school aged children (pre-K through 8th grades) every day.
Her creativity, efficiency in the kitchen, knowledge of nutritious foods and motherly instinct make her a fantastic addition to our MOMables team. She consults in recipe and meal plan development.
