We’ve all been there, staring at an empty lunchbox, no clue what to pack, and sending that desperate “What are you guys packing for lunch this week?” text to the moms group chat.
When my oldest was in 1st grade, I needed ideas ASAP, and my fellow 1st grade moms really came through for me with out-of-the-box ideas that kept our lunches frehs. Today, I’m sharing with you the epic lunches my daughter and her friend enjoyed in first great and yeah, I’m reminicing a little since she’s in her second year of college at the moment. But these favorites, stood the test of time for my dughter, her brothers and all of their friends. I hope your kids love them too.
If you need help with lunch ideas this week, consider this your personal group chat, with all the best school lunches for kids of any age. Be sure to let me know what you’re packing this week in a comment below.
Ham and Cheese Apple Wraps

“And the apples don’t brown?” Nope! I learned through the years that these wraps are the easiest way to include apples in the lunchbox and keep them fresh!
Banana Sushi Rolls

Fun bite-sized lunches like this one make it easier for little kids to eat their food while chatting with friends. Bonus: it’s delish!
Strawberry Peanut Butter Sandwich

Slice or mash the strawberries and add a little honey if your kid has a sweet tooth. They’ll DEVOUR this sandwich!
Sandwich Kabob Lunchbox

It’s so fun and easy that my kids help me assemble this lunch. It looks “cool” and is packed with nutrition. Yep, totally a winner!
