Looking for a way to serve your kids all the delicious, juicy berries popping up this summer?
This Fruit and Yogurt Parfait makes an easy, colorful snack perfect for busy summer days. Making these parfaits is so simple! Check out this video to see how I do it:
Cut the prep time for this recipe even shorter by making multiple parfaits at once and storing them in your fridge for grab-and-go moments. I like to keep them on a low shelf so my kids can easily grab them when it's snack time.
Let your kids get involved with prepping these parfaits! Older children can chop the strawberries, and younger ones can help assemble the ingredients in the jars.
How to Make this Fruit & Yogurt Parfait
All you need for these parfaits are blueberries, diced strawberries, and your choice of vanilla yogurt. I like using Greek yogurt, for the high protein content but regular yogurt or even dairy-free yogurt will work too!
- Grab 2 glass yogurt ramekins or 2 chilled thermos containers.
- Divide the strawberries between the containers. Top each with half the yogurt and the blueberries.
- Finish off with the remaining yogurt a sprinkle of granola.
And just like that, you have a healthy snack for after school or the lunchbox! Want to pack this recipe for lunch? Go for it, but first, check out tips on how to keep yogurt and parfaits cold till lunch. You won’t have to worry about it going bad ever again.
Keeping fresh berries on hand is a must for my family. I use them all the time for packed lunches and snacks like this one or my homemade fruit yogurt.
If you find yourself tossing out fresh berries only after a few days, then try this trick I discovered to keep berries fresh. It helps all varieties of ber#yogurtries stay fresh, longer.
Did you know berries are considered some of the world's most powerful superfoods?
They are rich in antioxidants, vitamins C and E, and phytochemicals, so you can feel good about serving them to your family-and your kids will love them!
I hope you make this berry parfait from The Best Homemade Kids' Snacks on the Planet and enjoy it as much as my family does.

I’m torn! S’mores Dip sounds AMAZING but I think the Bruschetta Dip is a neat way to use the Hummus and I’ve never tried the Pine Nut Hummus (I’m a tried and true Red Pepper Hummus girl myself). The key is which one is more likely to have people shoving each other out of the way to eat! I’m going with the Bruschetta Dip because the grown-ups would be too polite to arm wrestle over the S’mores Dip (at least in public)!
