What is in Salami and Cheese Bento

You can assemble a tasty homemade lunch as fast as your kids will eat it!

This bento box lunch includes:

  • Salami: use your favorite salami.
  • Cheese: any sliced cheese pairs great!
  • Crackers: I include whole-grain crackers in this lunch; you can add your child’s favorite ones.
  • Veggies: any veggie your kid likes is perfect!

You’ll find the measurements in the recipe card below. Learn more about how to pack balanced bento box lunches here.

How to pack Salami and Cheese Bento Box for lunch

Keep this Salami and Cheese Bento Box fresh and crunchy until lunchtime by packing it correctly.

Here is how I packed this lunch:

  1. Pack salami, cheese, and crackers
Place salami and cheese slices inside the lunchbox. Pair with whole-grain crackers.
  2. Add veggies
In a separate compartment, pack veggies.
  3. Dips & Treats
If you want a dip, like Ranch of hummus, pack it separately in a small lidded container. You can also add a treat in a separate compartment, like sliced fruit, berries, healthy cookies, or these Chocolate No-Bake Brownie Energy Bites.

Lunch Packing tips

Who wants to make lunches early in the morning? No one. Lunches like this one can be made the night before and kept fresh in the fridge. Here is how:

Save time
You can prep this salami and cheese bento lunch completely ahead, so you just have to open the fridge, and grab the lunchbox.

Prevent spills
If you add a dip, be sure to pack it in a small lidded container or in a separate leak-proof compartment.
