How to Pack a Chicken Caesar Wrap for Lunch

This Chicken Caesar Wrap will stay fresh and neat until lunchtime if you assemble it correctly. Here’s how I make this wrap for lunch:

  1. Make the filling
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped or shredded cooked chicken with the Caesar dressing. Mix it until all the chicken has been coated with it.
  2. Prep the base
Place the tortilla on a flat surface and layer a couple of lettuce leaves on top.
  3. Add the filling
Scoop the chicken Caesar mixture on top of the lettuce, placing it in the middle of the tortilla. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  4. Wrap it!
Fold in the two sides and then one end over the chicken salad, rolling it tightly into a wrap. Slice in half.
  5. Pack it for lunch
Place the chicken wrap inside the main compartment of a lunchbox, along with some fruit and veggies. Cover with the lid and refrigerate until ready to pack inside a lunch bag with or without an ice pack.

More Tips for Packing Wraps for Lunch

Follow these tips for packing epic wraps for school lunch every time!

Keep it fresh
If you plan to make this chicken Caesar wrap ahead, cover it with a damp paper towel and refrigerate it. This will prevent tortillas from drying out, especially if you use gluten-free tortillas.

Prep ahead
Shredded chicken leftovers can save you time when building this wrap. Plus, you can use it to pack lunches with chicken salad, add it to chicken thermos soups, fill sandwiches, and so much more!

Pack veggies and fruits apart
You can pair this delicious Chicken Caesar Lunch Wrap with any veggies and fruits you have on hand. Pack them in a separate lunchbox compartment so everything stays fresh and crunchy.

Add more nutrition
Pack extra snacks for bigger appetites! These Homemade Fruit Cups or these Banana Chips are a favorite for sweet-toothed kids. Another delish addition for active children are these epic No-Bake Chocolate Energy Balls. Yum!
