This ham and veggie wrap is an easy way to turn deli ham, cheese, and fresh veggies into a lunch you can make in about 5 minutes. Here, I'll show you how to layer and roll it so everything stays fresh until lunchtime.

Packing It for Lunch
- Assemble
Spread a thin layer of ranch, mayo, or your favorite condiment over the tortilla. Add the lettuce or spinach, followed by the tomato, corn, ham, and cheese. Keeping the wetter veggies toward the center helps protect the tortilla from extra moisture. - Roll it
Fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly, tucking the ingredients in as you go. Don’t overfill it or you’ll have a harder time keeping everything inside. - Pack for lunch
Cut the wrap in half and place it in a hard lunch container so it doesn’t get squished. Keep juicy fruit and other wet sides in a separate compartment and refrigerate until you’re ready to pack the lunch bag.

Laura’s School Lunch Packing Tips
Keep the wettest ingredients away from the tortilla and don’t use more dressing than you need. If you like lettuce or spinach, layer the greens against the tortilla before adding tomato. If you don’t, place the ham and cheese against the tortilla and keep the tomatoes closer to the center.
Yes. Roll it tightly and refrigerate it in a covered container overnight. I like to leave the wrap whole and slice it before packing so the filling stays tucked inside.
Use a hard lunch container that fits the wrap fairly snugly. A zip bag doesn’t give it much protection once it’s bouncing around inside a lunch bag.
Use just enough to add flavor without making the tortilla wet. If you want more, pack it in a small leak-proof container for dipping instead.
