Craving a classic BLT but need something that’s easy to pack for lunch? This BLT Wrap is the perfect solution. It’s delicious, filling, and a convenient handheld lunch idea.

Bacon Lettuce Tomato Wrap
While my kids love the classic BLT sandwich, my teens enjoy it much more when it’s wrapped up in a tortilla. It’s an easy-to-eat, mess-free lunch, and unlike a BLT salad, no utensils are required!
Make it and eat it now or read this post to learn how to keep this lunch wrap fresh and delicious until lunchtime when you pack it inside a lunch box. This method works for other wraps too, like my Roast Beef and Veggie Wrap or this hefty Turkey Club Wrap.
Ingredients
This BLT Wrap is simple and packed with flavor. Here's a closer look at the ingredients:
- Tortilla: A soft tortilla makes this wrap easy to handle and eat. You can use whole wheat, gluten-free, or flavored wraps.
- Mayonnaise or Ranch Dressing: Adds a creamy, tangy layer of flavor and is the "glue" that holds the wrap together.
- Bacon: Crispy bacon is the star of this wrap, and turkey bacon is a leaner option. Cooking bacon in the microwave saves time and keeps it crisp. Bacon bits will work in a pinch.
- Tomatoes: Fresh, juicy tomatoes add sweetness and acidity. You can use sun-dried tomatoes, too.
- Lettuce: Crisp lettuce adds a refreshing crunch. Any variety works-romaine, iceberg, or even spinach.
How to Pack a BLT Wrap for Lunch
Making this wrap is quick and easy, perfect for busy mornings. For a detailed insight into making wraps for lunch, check out my tutorial on making sandwich wraps.
- Cook the bacon
Start by cooking the bacon until it's crispy, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. - Spread mayo on the tortilla
A little mayo or ranch dressing on the wrap becomes the “glue” that holds all the ingredients together when you roll up the wrap. - Layer the ingredients
Make sure to place all the ingredients in the middle and center of the tortilla. - Wrap it up
Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then the bottom over the filling, and roll it up tightly while tucking the filling snugly into the tortilla.

Tips to Keep Wraps Fresh in the Lunchbox
Wraps make excellent school lunches, and these tips will help keep the wrap fresh and delicious until lunchtime:
Choose the right container
Place it snugly in a lunch container. This will prevent it from unrolling and keep all the fillings in place.
Keep it cool
Store the wrap in the refrigerator until it's time to place it in the lunch bag with an ice pack to keep everything cool and crisp.

Wait to Slice in Half
Slice your wrap in half right before you place it in the lunch bag so the filling stays in and the wrap stays fresh.
What to Pack with a BLT Wrap
Pair the BLT wrap with some fresh fruit and veggies in separate compartments to complete the meal, or include some of these delicious and nutritious sides like broccoli nuggets, sweet potato hummus or a homemade fruit cup.
