Fun and easy school lunches featuring ham as the main ingredient!

Want to pack a whole week’s worth of school or office lunches? Check out these easy and fresh school lunches ideas with ham that you can pack for the entire week.

Using one main ingredient to make a week’s worth of school lunches is a trick I’ve been using for years to pack fresh lunches while cutting down on food waste.

I’ve done this with other lunch favorites such as turkey, hard-boiled eggs, and chicken salad, so it’s about time I shared my 5 favorite lunch recipes using ham.

Packing School Lunches

I’m all about creating lunch ideas for kids that are easy, achievable, and tasty enough that no one will come home with a full lunch box. The easiest way to do this is by using ingredients you know they love.

It’s the simplest things like ham and cheese kids seem to enjoy most, and today, I’m sharing 10 different ways to recreate those same 2 ingredients into lunches everyone can enjoy all week long. But first, watch this video to see a few of them packed together!

Of course, you can start with a classic ham sandwich, but take it to the next level by toasting the bread before building your sandwich. This makes a delicious texture for the sandwich and is one strategy to help avoid soggy sandwiches. More sandwich packing tips here.
