Turkey wraps are one of the easiest ways to pack a filling, high-protein lunch without making another sandwich. They come together in minutes with deli turkey and a few simple fillings, travel well in a lunchbox, and are easy to customize for kids, teens, or adults.

Below are some of my favorite turkey wrap recipes, plus plenty of ideas for what to put inside and how to pack them so they stay fresh.

Turkey Wrap Recipes

Out of all the wrap recipes I've packed over the years, turkey wraps are some of my favorites because they're fast, filling, and easy to change up. Start with deli turkey, add a spread, cheese, veggies, or whatever your family likes, and you can have a healthy lunch ready in just a few minutes.

The recipes below are some of my go-to combinations, and further down I share even more ideas for what to put in a turkey wrap and tips for packing them.

Laura’s Packing Tips for Turkey Wraps

How to wrap it so it doesn’t fall apart

When you make a wrap, place the ingredients in the middle, fold the sides in, then fold the back over the ingredients and tuck as you roll it closed.

Keeping the tortilla from getting soggy

Spread as much mayo, hummus, or ranch as needed to help the other ingredients stick to the tortilla, and place any wet ingredients, like tomato slices, in the middle on top of other ingredients to create a barrier. Whenever possible, place sliced cheese or the deli meat next to the tortilla.

Make ahead tips

You can make these wraps 3 days ahead and store them in the fridge, covered in plastic wrap or in an airtight container, to prevent the tortilla from drying out. To keep them fresh longer, wait to slice them in half the same day you’re going to eat them. I also recommend packing them in a sturdy container, separate from veggies and fruits.
